Army Wife Life


Like most days while Kelly was gone, this day was no exception.

I stalked the family Facebook group and the companies Facebook page. Daily, hourly, non-stop.

I can't remember if he wrote and told me a guess of which day it would be or not. I just knew to watch closely that week.

The company commander would go live and show the future soldier's training. It was pretty cool. I can't imagine being in times where there was no technology and having a husband go through basic.

7:00 or 8:00 that night the Company went live to show the future soldiers becoming soldiers and officially graduating from basic. Kelly was in OSUT so he would stay at FLW after Basic. Most other Army jobs have a different basic training location and job school location. Kelly stayed at one the whole time.
